Tipped is a digital tipping platform that enables users to send and receive tips using supported payment methods. Tipped is not a bank, financial institution, or payment service provider. All monetary value associated with your Tipped account is held and managed by regulated third-party service providers.

Any balances displayed in the Tipped App are not held by Tipped. Wallet functionality and custodial services are provided by VALR (Pty) Ltd, a regulated third-party service provider. Tipped does not take custody of user funds at any time.

Users may use their available balance to spend value at supported merchants or platforms through integrated third-party services, including but not limited to MoneyBadger, Zapper, and participating retail partners.

We collect information to operate and improve the Tipped App. This may include:

• Personal Information: Name, email address, phone number, and identity verification information where required.

• Usage Data: Information about how you interact with the App and its features.

• Transaction Data: Records of tips sent, received, and spent through the platform.

We use your information to:

• Provide and operate the Tipped App.

• Facilitate tipping and spending transactions.

• Comply with legal and regulatory requirements.

• Improve and personalise user experience.

Tipped relies on third-party service providers to enable payments, wallet services, and merchant acceptance. These providers operate independently and are subject to their own terms, conditions, and privacy policies.

Tipped may be offered as a beta or early-access product. Features may change, be modified, or discontinued at any time. Use of the App during beta is at your own risk.
